This year's Veterans Day observance moves from the Courthouse to the new park, a lasting place to honor the men and women from Morgan County and beyond who have served our country.
A Place to Remember
The park features eight flagpoles arranged in a semicircle, memorial brick walkways that lead visitors toward the flags, and a "Lest We Forget" gateway welcoming everyone who stops by. It sits at a prominent spot along the main route through town, so travelers on US-27 will see it too.
